1. SOCIAL INSURANCE – FORM A1
This form is a document certifying the social security legislation applicable to a worker who is not only domiciled in a country other than Switzerland, but also carries out gainful employment in different countries.
To obtain this form, you should contact your local health insurance fund as soon as possible.
Your Caisse will need the following information in particular: where do you live, are you employed or self-employed, what are your various activities, are you receiving unemployment benefit? Please provide your health insurance fund with the relevant proof.
Form A1 does not replace the document proving your “Self-employed” status. This must also be provided to us annually.

In accordance with the ALCP, people working in Switzerland for less than 90 days a year must register with the Swiss Confederation.
The registration procedure is online and must be completed before you start work in Switzerland.

Assessment process
To help you use the new extranet as quickly as possible, you will find below an explanation of the rating process:
- 1. The administration creates a note space which will be attached to a course.
- 2. You need to log in to your extranet in order to enter the grades in this grade space.
- 3. Once on the extranet, go to your dashboard and click on the following link.
- 4. On the link, you have access to the class list, where you can enter your marks and comments (in “Student comments”), as well as the name of the group (in the case of group work), and also insert bonuses or penalties if necessary (specifying their nature in “Student comments”).
- 5. Be sure to proofread your comments carefully to avoid spelling, syntax and grammatical errors, etc., and be sure to use the polite form of address.
- 6. You can “save” your notes so that you can come back to them later, or “save and submit” when you have finished.
- 7. In the second case, the administration will be notified and will be able to validate the marks and make them visible to the students, or return the document to you in the event of disagreement or misunderstanding.
- 8. In the second case, you will receive a new notification with the administration’s comments, so you can change the scores.
- 9. Only the administration can validate these grades and make them visible to students. A notification will then be sent to you to inform you that the grades have been uploaded to the student profile.
- 10. Marks must be returned within 15 days.
