The Bachelor

Events & Cultural Communication

Surprising the public, making an impression, creating emotions, offering something new – the stakes are high, but with a new standard: the marriage of events and technology!

Whether it’s a corporate or cultural event, the fusion of human creativity and technological advances is fundamentally revolutionising the way we design and take part in these events. This is precisely what we prepare our students for! They learn not only how to design, script, plan, orchestrate and digitalise an event, but also how to promote it.

The events sector, which has been hit hard by the economic crisis, is growing again, creating a shortage of qualified staff. It therefore offers a vast field of opportunities for students with a creative, curious, intuitive, visionary and passionate profile and a certain artistic sensitivity. To train these future conductors, CREA is launching its new Bachelor’s degree in Events & Cultural Communication.

The Event Lab, an experimentation area that reproduces the working conditions of an events agency under the supervision of professionals in the trade… Your speakers, active experts in the market, will also help to structure your future network.

On completion of this Bachelor’s degree, you could join an agency, advertiser, association, foundation or festival as a project manager, or choose to continue your studies with a Master’s degree.

Need constant stimulation? Events are your playground! Go for it, boredom is not on the agenda!

This is your chance to join a passionate community, ready to take on challenges with commitment and pleasure. Your career path will be enriched by a network of Swiss and international companies and experts who are active alongside us, and by an openness to the world thanks to study trips or a semester on a partner campus abroad. Our Sustainable Education strategy embarks all CREAtors on an adventure where innovation is combined with social and environmental responsibility.

The Bachelors we award total 180 ECTS credits; and 120 ECTS credits for the Masters. Collaboration agreements with other institutes or professional associations in Europe enable our students to join other training courses, particularly for post-graduate studies.
