Article 1: Applicants can obtain the admission contract either on the school’s website, at a personal interview or at an information session.
Article 2: The candidate must complete the admission contract, compile the application file and submit it to CREA in order to take part in the entrance exam. He/she will be informed of the date by email. If he/she is unable to attend, he/she must contact CREA immediately. In the event of non-attendance at the entrance exam, the registration fee will not be reimbursed.
Article 3: In order to obtain a Bachelor’s degree at the end of the program, candidates must meet the following admission requirements: (1) be between 18 and 25 years of age at the start of the programme, (2) hold a Secondary II diploma or a diploma judged to be equivalent (by CREA) and (3) have passed the entrance examination. There are special admission conditions for candidates without a Secondary II diploma (or equivalent) who have demonstrated real talent in the entrance exam. In this case, students must pass their first year in order to continue their Bachelor’s degree in year 2. Students cannot repeat Year 1.
Article 4: The admission contract and its appendices must be sent before the prescribed deadline to guarantee access to the session in question.
Subject to the provisions of the admissions contract, participation in the entrance exam validates CREA’s acquisition of the enrolment fee.
Article 5: Candidates who are minors at the time of enrolment must have the admission contract countersigned by a representative holding parental authority.
Article 6: The candidate must have the abilities required to complete the training covered by the admission contract without specific support or assistance measures.
Article 7: The decision on whether or not candidate passed the entrance examination is communicated to the candidate within 20 working days. CREA’s decision on the entrance exam is final and irrevocable. If the candidate fails the entrance exam, the registration fee will be refunded within 4 weeks.
Article 8: Applicants may be admitted unconditionally or, exceptionally, subject to conditions, for example in order to :
– satisfy a missing prerequisite,
– retake all or part of the entrance exam and be interviewed by a new panel.
Article 9: If an admitted candidate/student withdraws his/her application, he/she must notify CREA immediately by registered letter and the withdrawal clauses set out in the admissions contract will apply.
Article 10: If the student discovers that he/she has made a mistake in his/her choice of Bachelor’s program, an internal change (within the CREA Bachelor’s program) may be considered, subject to availability, solely within the following framework and on condition that the change is made within 2 weeks of the start of the program at the latest :
– the student must present a clear motivation to the management of the Bachelor program he/she wishes to enter, in the prescribed form,
– the student must be admitted to and pass the entrance examination for the Bachelor’s degree to which he/she wishes to apply.
The change may be subject to special conditions and, in all cases, must be approved by CREA, provided that the Bachelor’s occupancy rate allows it.
Article 11: If the applicant/student wishes to defer the admission contract, he/she undertakes to comply with the applicable procedure and to pay the amount due.
Article 12: In the event of repeating a year (only one repeat year is permitted), CREA will charge an additional flat fee for the repeat year (excluding study trip costs). The flat fee varies depending on the year repeated. The student is required to continue paying tuition fees (as well as other fees and charges) in accordance with the terms and due dates specified in the admission contract (or, where applicable, the accepted payment plan agreement).
Article 13: Students receive a MacBook Pro computer included in the tuition fees and agree to use it with the utmost care during their training. At the end of the training, and after paying the full tuition fees, the computer given to the student becomes their property. If the student’s course at CREA is interrupted during the training, he/she is required to return the computer and its accessories in perfect condition. Depending on the circumstances, the student may request to purchase the computer, for example, on a pro rata basis of the balance owed.
Article 14: CREA recognizes that the use of generative artificial intelligence tools is now an integral part of educational and professional practices. Their use is authorized insofar as it is appropriate, transparent, supervised, and in compliance with ethical rules, intellectual property rights, and specific instructions from course instructors. Each student (in coordination with CREA) is responsible for acquiring the necessary tools to meet the program requirements, in accordance with the rules defined by CREA.
Article 15: With regard to tuition fees, students undertake to be up to date with their payments before submitting their Bachelor’s thesis. The Bachelor’s degree (or diploma, where applicable) will only be awarded to students once all tuition fees have been paid in full.
Article 16: Once their admission has been confirmed by CREA, candidates/students may apply for a scholarship. In this context, the student must proceed in accordance with the Scholarship Application document available from CREA. The instructions contained therein must be strictly followed. CREA may, without being obliged to do so, assist the student in this process, it being specified that CREA is not authorized to make a final decision in this context (independent third parties). The admission (conclusion of the contract and/or continuation) of the student cannot be conditional in any way, whether on obtaining a scholarship, a bank loan, and/or any other similar situations.
Article 17: The candidate/student agrees that audiovisual and/or photographic material (atmospheric images of groups of students, individual photographs, etc.) may be produced, including those that identify and/or recognize the candidate/student, and used to illustrate CREA’s communications (website, brochures, etc.). etc.) may be produced, including those that allow the candidate/student to be identified and/or recognized, and used to illustrate CREA’s communications (website, brochures, various presentations, etc.).
Article 18: By submitting the duly completed and signed admission contract, the student declares that they are providing complete and truthful information and documents in good faith. CREA reserves the right to take any appropriate measures in the event of a breach by the student of their obligations in this regard.
Article 19: All disputes shall be handled by CREA’s legal department, and no right of appeal shall be available in relation to the admission process.
Article 20: Cases of force majeure are reserved. For example, in light of the situation related to COVID-19, CREA reserves the right to deliver all or part of its courses via videoconference, particularly if health measures so require and/or if the safety of students and staff can no longer be guaranteed.
