Please read all the sections below carefully, they contain very important information about your future training!

Withdrawal Clauses

The student may withdraw from the admission contract in accordance with the provisions of this contract, in particular Section VII. A student’s abandonment of the program is considered to be a withdrawal (with effect on the date the abandonment is validated).

Withdrawal (and/or any similar situation) does not affect the student’s financial obligations to CREA. However, depending on the date on which it occurs, the student will be liable for the sums stipulated in this Section VII (fees and ancillary costs reserved and additional in all cases).

The provisions relating to other cases of termination of the contract (e.g. late payment, failure, expulsion) are reserved.

Year 1 (2025/2026)

In the event of withdrawal before 30.04.25: no amount is due to CREA (subject to costs and accessories acquired by CREA which remain due).

In the event of withdrawal during the period from 01.05.25 to 30.06.25: CHF 3,125 is payable to CREA.

In the event of withdrawal during the period from 01.07.25 to 21.09.25: the amount of CHF 6,250 is payable to CREA.

In the event of withdrawal during the period from 22.09.25 (start date) to 31.01.26: the amount of CHF 12,500 is payable by the student to CREA (after deduction of amounts due and paid).
This clause also applies if the student does not appear on the first day of term in year 1.

In the event of withdrawal between 01.02.26 and 30.06.26: the amount of CHF 25,000 is payable by the student to CREA (after deduction of amounts due and paid).

Year 2 (2026/2027)

In the event of withdrawal during the period from 01.07.26 to 31.01.27: the sum of CHF 32,250 must be paid to CREA (after deduction of amounts due and paid).
This clause also applies if the student does not appear on the first day of term in the second year.

In the event of withdrawal during the period from 01.02.27 to 30.06.27: the amount of CHF 39,500 is payable to CREA (after deduction of amounts due and paid).

Year 3 (2027/2028)

In the event of withdrawal during the period from 01.07.27 to 31.01.28: the sum of CHF 46,750 is payable to CREA (after deduction of amounts due and paid).
This clause also applies if the student does not appear on the first day of term in the 3rd year.

In the event of withdrawal during the period from 01.02.28 to 30.06.28: the amount of CHF 54,000 is payable to CREA (without discounts or deductions).

Please note: Any withdrawal in accordance with the above must be formally notified to CREA by registered letter. The date of receipt is binding. Notification by e-mail is not accepted or valid.

Late payment

In the event of late payment of any of the sums due under the admissions contract and related documents, the student is automatically in default, without any notification being necessary on the part of CREA. Depending on the situation, CREA may send reminder(s), without calling into question the due date of the sums and/or the default. In addition, where applicable, after the 3rd reminder (registered), the total balance of the school fees (for the current year, with previous instalments remaining due and acquired by CREA) is automatically payable without delay.

Non-payment of any of the instalments for the current program may result in (i) provisional suspension of the program and/or (ii) termination of the admission contract by CREA. In the event of suspension, all sums due by the student for the full amount of the tuition fees (including, where applicable, the study trip) remain payable on the applicable due dates. However, in the event of termination by CREA in this context, the provisions of Section VII apply by analogy, based on the date of termination.

In particular, in the event of a significant delay in payment, CREA may require payment of the tuition fees to be up to date before (i) the start of the academic year, including when transferring from one year to the next, and/or (ii) submission of the Bachelor’s thesis.

More specifically in relation to the Bachelor’s thesis, if the student is not up to date with the payment deadlines, CREA requires the situation to be regularized and the student does not comply, then the Bachelor’s thesis is postponed until the following year (only one postponement possible). During this period, while awaiting the presentation of the Bachelor’s thesis postponed in accordance with the above, the student will not be given any tuition. The presentation of the Bachelor’s thesis that has already been postponed to the following year may not be postponed again. It would be a definitive case of failure in the Bachelor’s program if the presentation of the Bachelor’s thesis (already postponed) could not take place the following year because of late payment.

In all cases, the award of the Bachelor’s degree (or Diploma) is subject to full payment of the tuition fees.

If the student is in default, CREA reserves the right to recover any sums due by legal means, without prior notice. The related costs will be charged to the student.

Situation in the event of failure

If a student fails during the Bachelor’s program (with or without repeating a year), no reimbursement or reduction of tuition fees (including, where applicable, the study trip) is applicable. These tuition fees are due in full until the end of the academic year in which the failure is declared by CREA.

If the student informs CREA of his/her wish to withdraw from the current Bachelor program, the provisions of Section VII apply.

Extraordinary circumstances clause

If the student, through no fault of his/her own, finds him/herself in a situation of such gravity that continuation of the program is not possible (in other words, an extraordinary situation), the student shall contact CREA without delay in order to (i) set out in detail the reasons and circumstances applicable, in writing or in any other form acceptable to CREA and (ii) provide information on his/her own assessment of the foreseeable duration of the extraordinary situation.

CREA will examine the extraordinary situation and make every effort to offer the student any accommodation that might be acceptable in this context.

Definitive expulsion from the program

CREA may sanction any failure by the student to comply with the obligations imposed by this contract and/or any regulations applicable during the program, in particular the student’s Administrative Regulations (e.g. disciplinary grounds, lack of work, attendance, etc.) by taking appropriate measures, which may include definitive expulsion from the program following a disciplinary board. In this event, the expelled student will remain fully liable for all sums due under the admission contract (full tuition fees, expenses and incidentals, including, where applicable, the cost of the study trip) by applying the provisions of Section VII by analogy, based on the date of expulsion.

In the event of failure to obtain the Swiss maturité, the baccalaureate, or an equivalent qualification

Applicants who pass their entrance exams and are in their final year of Gymnasium, Collège, Lycée or another equivalent establishment (at CREA’s discretion) may be admitted on condition that they have obtained their Maturité, baccalauréat or
relevant equivalent.

In the event of non-attainment of the diploma concerned, the candidate/student will ensure that CREA is immediately informed of the situation, at the latest within the time limit and in the form prescribed by CREA for this purpose (by means of any relevant communication). In these circumstances, two solutions could be envisaged :

1) The candidate/student can defer his/her enrolment at CREA for the following year, without having to sit the entrance exam again. To take advantage of this option, the candidate/student must :

  • Submit a copy of their final report card, confirming that they have failed.
  • Complete a new admission contract for the following session (session 2026-2029), when it becomes available (in principle, from November 2025).
  • Pay the amount of CHF 4,500 by 30.06.2025. This amount will be credited to future school fees.
  • The provisions of the new admissions contract for the following session shall apply, it being specifically agreed, however, that the amount stated above (subject to amendment by CREA) is retained by CREA in any event..

2) The candidate/student has the opportunity to join CREA.
This being the case, the candidate/student does not wish to repeat his/her year of study to obtain the Matura, Baccalaureate or equivalence concerned and still has the possibility of starting the Bachelor’s programme at CREA, subject to acceptance. In this context, the provisions of article 3 of the Bachelor Admission Regulations provide useful additional information.

A candidate/student who does not wish to enroll in CREA for the Bachelor’s program and prefers to continue his/her studies with a view to obtaining the relevant Matura, Baccalaureate or equivalent, will be reimbursed for any tuition fees already paid to CREA, with the exception of the registration fee of CHF 500, which will be retained by CREA. To this end, the candidate/student must provide CREA with a copy of (i) his/her final report card confirming his/her failure and (ii) any document establishing the continuation of the program concerned.

Deferral of admission contract

If the applicant/student wishes to defer the admission contract, he/she may apply to CREA to defer his/her enrolment in CREA for the following year. To do this, the applicant/student must submit his/her request for deferral by 30 June 2025 at the latest (this request may therefore be made only prior to Year 1) in accordance with the following :

  • Complete a new admissions contract for the following session (session 2026-2029), when it becomes available (in principle, from November 2025).
  • Pay the amount of CHF 4,500 by 30.06.2025. This amount will be credited to future school fees.
  • The provisions of the new admissions contract for the following session shall apply, it being specifically agreed, however, that the amount stated above (subject to amendment by CREA) is retained by CREA in any event.

Students are actively responsible for finding placements, with the support of CREA’s Career Center & Corporate Relations.

Bachelor students have 2 compulsory internships of at least 5 months, to be completed during the progam: the first at the beginning of the 2nd year, lasting 5 to 6 months, and the second at the end of the 3rd year, lasting 5 to 8 months maximum.

This internship is a sine qua non for obtaining the diploma and validating the ECTS associated with the work placements.

If a student repeats a year, fails or does not submit the Bachelor’s thesis, he or she will not receive a new internship agreement if the work placement periods have already been validated during the program.

The student agrees to the full distribution of his/her application file to the school’s partner companies as part of the internship search.

The Bachelor Admission Regulations are given to the candidate/student and apply.

The applicant’s/student’s enrolment becomes firm and definitive once the admission contract has been countersigned by CREA.

CREA reserves the right to cancel the Bachelor program in the event of insufficient participation.

The candidate/student undertakes to comply with the regulations in force at CREA. These will be communicated at a later date.

The relationship between CREA and the candidate/student, and in particular those arising from this admission contract, are subject to Swiss (domestic) law. In the event of a dispute, the ordinary courts of the Canton of Geneva shall have sole jurisdiction, subject to any appeal to the Federal Court.

Article 1: Applicants can obtain the admission contract either on the school’s website, at a personal interview or at an information session.
Article 2: The candidate must complete the admission contract, compile the application file and submit it to CREA in order to take part in the entrance exam. He/she will be informed of the date by email. If he/she is unable to attend, he/she must contact CREA immediately. In the event of non-attendance at the entrance exam, the registration fee will not be reimbursed.
Article 3: In order to obtain a Bachelor’s degree at the end of the program, candidates must meet the following admission requirements: (1) be between 18 and 25 years of age at the start of the programme, (2) hold a Secondary II diploma or a diploma judged to be equivalent (by CREA) and (3) have passed the entrance examination. There are special admission conditions for candidates without a Secondary II diploma (or equivalent) who have demonstrated real talent in the entrance exam. In this case, students must pass their first year in order to continue their Bachelor’s degree in year 2. Students cannot repeat Year 1.
Article 4: The admission contract and its appendices must be sent before the prescribed deadline to guarantee access to the session in question. Subject to the provisions of the admissions contract, participation in the entrance exam validates CREA’s acquisition of the enrolment fee.
Article 5: Candidates who are minors at the time of enrolment must have the admission contract countersigned by a representative holding parental authority.
Article 6: The decision on whether or not candidate passed the entrance examination is communicated to the candidate within 20 working days. CREA’s decision on the entrance exam is final and irrevocable. If the candidate fails the entrance exam, the registration fee will be refunded within 4 weeks.
Article 7: Applicants may be admitted unconditionally or, exceptionally, subject to conditions, for example in order to : – satisfy a missing prerequisite, – retake all or part of the entrance exam and be interviewed by a new panel.
Article 8: If an admitted candidate/student withdraws his/her application, he/she must notify CREA immediately by registered letter and the withdrawal clauses set out in the admissions contract will apply.
Article 9: If the student discovers that he/she has made a mistake in his/her choice of Bachelor’s program, an internal change (within the CREA Bachelor’s program) may be considered, subject to availability, solely within the following framework and on condition that the change is made within 2 weeks of the start of the program at the latest: – the student must present a clear motivation to the management of the Bachelor program he/she wishes to enter, in the prescribed form, – the student must be admitted to and pass the entrance examination for the Bachelor’s degree to which he/she wishes to apply. The change may be subject to special conditions and, in all cases, must be approved by CREA, provided that the Bachelor’s occupancy rate allows it.
Article 10: If the applicant/student wishes to defer the admission contract, he/she undertakes to comply with the applicable procedure and to pay the amount due.
Article 11: In the event of a student repeating a year (only one repetition is permitted), the additional year’s tuition will not be invoiced (excluding study trip expenses). The student is obliged to continue payment of the tuition fees (as well as all other fees and charges), in accordance with the terms and conditions and due dates indicated on the admission contract concluded (where applicable, the accepted payment plan agreement). The student will thus, in principle, have paid the full tuition fee before the end of the program.
Article 12: The student is provided with a MacBook Pro computer included in the tuition fee and undertakes to use it with the utmost care during the program. At the end of the progam, and after payment of the full tuition fee, the computer given to the student becomes his/her property. If the student’s program with CREA is interrupted , he/she is obliged to return the computer and its accessories in perfect condition. Depending in the circumstances, the student may ask to purchase the computer, for example on a pro rata basis of the outstanding balance.
Article 13: With regard to tuition fees, students undertake to be up to date with their payments before submitting their Bachelor’s thesis. The Bachelor’s degree (or Diploma, if applicable) is only awarded once the full tuition fees have been paid.
Article 14: Once their admission has been approved by CREA, applicants/students may apply for a scholarship. In this case, the student must proceed in accordance with the Scholarship Application document, which can be obtained from CREA. The instructions contained therein must be scrupulously observed. CREA may, but is not obliged to, assist the student in this process, although CREA is not authorized to make any decision in this respect ((scholarships are granted by an independent third parties). The student’s admission (conclusion of the contract and/or continuation) cannot be made conditional on obtaining a scholarship.
Article 15: The candidate/student accepts that audiovisual and/or photographic material (images of groups of students, individual shots, etc.) may be produced, including those where the candidate/student to be identified and/or recognized, and used to illustrate CREA’s communication (website, brochures, various presentations, etc.).
Article 16: All disputed cases are handled by CREA’s legal department and no right of appeal is possible in relation to the admission process.
Article 17: Cases of force majeure are reserved. For example, in view of the situation relating to Covid19, CREA reserves the right to hold all or part of the courses by videoconference, particularly if health measures so require and/or if the safety of students and staff can no longer be guaranteed.
