Article 1: Applicants can obtain the admission contract either on the school’s website, at a personal interview or at an information session.
Article 2: The candidate must complete the admission contract, compile the application file and submit it to CREA in order to take part in the entrance exam. He/she will be informed of the date by email. If he/she is unable to attend, he/she must contact CREA immediately. In the event of non-attendance at the entrance exam, the registration fee will not be reimbursed.
Article 3: In order to obtain a Bachelor’s degree at the end of the program, candidates must meet the following admission requirements: (1) be between 18 and 25 years of age at the start of the programme, (2) hold a Secondary II diploma or a diploma judged to be equivalent (by CREA) and (3) have passed the entrance examination. There are special admission conditions for candidates without a Secondary II diploma (or equivalent) who have demonstrated real talent in the entrance exam. In this case, students must pass their first year in order to continue their Bachelor’s degree in year 2. Students cannot repeat Year 1.
Article 4: The admission contract and its appendices must be sent before the prescribed deadline to guarantee access to the session in question.
Subject to the provisions of the admissions contract, participation in the entrance exam validates CREA’s acquisition of the enrolment fee.
Article 5: Candidates who are minors at the time of enrolment must have the admission contract countersigned by a representative holding parental authority.
Article 6: The decision on whether or not candidate passed the entrance examination is communicated to the candidate within 20 working days. CREA’s decision on the entrance exam is final and irrevocable. If the
candidate fails the entrance exam, the registration fee will be refunded within 4 weeks.
Article 7: Applicants may be admitted unconditionally or, exceptionally, subject to conditions, for example in order to :
– satisfy a missing prerequisite,
– retake all or part of the entrance exam and be interviewed by a new panel.
Article 8: If an admitted candidate/student withdraws his/her application, he/she must notify CREA immediately by registered letter and the withdrawal clauses set out in the admissions contract will apply.
Article 9: If the student discovers that he/she has made a mistake in his/her choice of Bachelor’s program, an internal change (within the CREA Bachelor’s program) may be considered, subject to availability, solely within the following framework and on condition that the change is made within 2 weeks of the start of the program at the latest:
– the student must present a clear motivation to the management of the Bachelor program he/she wishes to enter, in the prescribed form,
– the student must be admitted to and pass the entrance examination for the Bachelor’s degree to which he/she wishes to apply.
The change may be subject to special conditions and, in all cases, must be approved by CREA, provided that the Bachelor’s occupancy rate allows it.
Article 10: If the applicant/student wishes to defer the admission contract, he/she undertakes to comply with the applicable procedure and to pay the amount due.
Article 11: In the event of a student repeating a year (only one repetition is permitted), the additional year’s tuition will not be invoiced (excluding study trip expenses). The student is obliged to continue payment of the tuition fees (as well as all other fees and charges), in accordance with the terms and conditions and due dates indicated on the admission contract concluded (where applicable, the accepted payment plan agreement). The student will thus, in principle, have paid the full tuition fee before the end of the program.
Article 12: The student is provided with a MacBook Pro computer included in the tuition fee and undertakes to use it with the utmost care during the program. At the end of the progam, and after payment of the full tuition fee, the computer given to the student becomes his/her property. If the student’s program with CREA is interrupted , he/she is obliged to return the computer and its accessories in perfect condition. Depending in the circumstances, the student may ask to purchase the computer, for example on a pro rata basis of the outstanding balance.
Article 13: With regard to tuition fees, students undertake to be up to date with their payments before submitting their Bachelor’s thesis.
The Bachelor’s degree (or Diploma, if applicable) is only awarded once the full tuition fees have been paid.
Article 14: Once their admission has been approved by CREA, applicants/students may apply for a scholarship. In this case, the student must proceed in accordance with the Scholarship Application document, which can be obtained from CREA. The instructions contained therein must be scrupulously observed. CREA may, but is not obliged to, assist the student in this process, although CREA is not authorized to make any decision in this respect ((scholarships are granted by an independent third parties). The student’s admission (conclusion of the contract and/or continuation) cannot be made conditional on obtaining a scholarship.
Article 15: The candidate/student accepts that audiovisual and/or photographic material (images of groups of students, individual shots, etc.) may be produced, including those where the candidate/student to be identified and/or recognized, and used to illustrate CREA’s communication (website, brochures, various presentations, etc.).
Article 16: All disputed cases are handled by CREA’s legal department and no right of appeal is possible in relation to the admission process.
Article 17: Cases of force majeure are reserved. For example, in view of the situation relating to Covid19, CREA reserves the right to hold all or part of the courses by videoconference, particularly if health measures so require and/or if the safety of students and staff can no longer be guaranteed.
