The Master in Sports Marketing & New Technologies is an 18-month course carried out during employment. The Master’s course, under the leadership of Michel Desbordes, the academic director of the Inseec Group’s Sports Management department, has been developed in co-operation with the leading players in the market. It includes various workshops with the Study Centre for National and International Sportspeople (CESNI), a trip in Europe to the Munich International Sports Fair (ISPO), business visits and a co-operation with the Russian International Olympic University.
DOWNLOAD THE BROCHUREIt is important to revise and deepen your knowledge of the general principles of marketing and communication so that the peculiarities of sports marketing, from both a strategic and operational point of view, can be understood better, and to include new customer behaviours. The key concepts, tools and methods will be revisited and put into context with real life case studies.
The mobile revolution is underway and “hyper connection” offers the sports industry some amazing opportunities for innovation through the reinvention of the sports fan 2.0 relationship, providing a much enriched experience. Mastering all these digital channels and platforms is key and only a detailed understanding of all these mechanisms will enable the building of effective digital strategies.
An overall vision of the sports industry, its complexity and challenges, are the essential elements that provide a better understanding of how different players interact with the commercial sectors (equipment manufacturers, event organisers, etc.) and non-commercial sectors (sports federations, clubs, etc.).
International brands must adapt to the growing requirements from the sports consumer with a strong interest in innovative products. New technologies and the strong trend for the “quantified self” are having a powerful impact on this industry and opening exciting horizons. This module will provide the keys to success in this area to become a high-performer in the industry.
Brands rely increasingly on the sports event and sponsorship to manage their image. In parallel, new technologies are revolutionising sports arenas to transform them into 2.0 leisure sites and current trends in the sports business are seeing the phenomenon of eSport explode.

There is no specific entrance exam for the Master’s course.
Each application is individually evaluated by the course director, who reserves the right to accept or refuse a candidate without having to provide justification.
The 5-month business internship (or professional activity) must be approved by the school and carried out during the course

Fees include 1 European trip. The international trip (example: San Francisco) is an optional extra cost: CHF 3’000.-
